The recent publication of the outcomes of the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) Adult Education Budget (AEB) and West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) DPS7 Employment Programmes: Service Progrmmes tenders brings the total value of Adult Education Budget (AEB) and Free Courses for Jobs (FCFJ) funding announced in 2023 to date won by Ansible Education Consulting Ltd to over £18.5m, comprising:
- ESFA AEB: Six successful tenders submitted with a total first year contract value of £10.2m, representing 13.7% of the overall value awarded and comprises £8.3m AEB and £1.9m FCFJ funding, in turn equivalent to 13.2% and 16.1% of the totals awarded. (One year contract with option to extend by up to three years.)
- Greater London Authority Jobs and Skills for Londoners (GLA) AEB/FCFJ: Three successful tenders submitted, worth a total of £5.3m, comprising £2.8m AEB and £2.5m FCFJ. (Initial contract and value for two years with the option to extend by a further year.)
- WMCA Employment Programmes (DPS1 and DPS7) and DPS6 Higher Level Skills AEB/FCFJ: Two providers supported to access over £3m. (3 year contracts with the option to extend by a further 2 years.)
The above success builds on Ansible Education Consulting Ltd’s outstanding track record of supporting Independent Training Providers, Further Education Colleges and Universities to submit successful tenders to deliver AEB as well as European Social Fund (ESF) and other projects since 2016.
With further major tender opportunities to deliver devolved AEB and FCFJ on the horizon, including West Midlands, East Midlands, South Yorkshire, and West Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authorities tenders, Skills Bootcamps tenders and tenders for UK Shared Prosperity Fund People and Skills delivery (which replaces ESF), now is the ideal time to make contact if you need help with submitting a tender as capacity to support additional providers is limited.
