Following the publication of the Government’s Plan for Jobs which included a £111 million investment to triple the number of traineeships available for 2020 to 2021, the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) have announced that they will be launching a procurement opportunity shortly to enable providers to access funding to deliver 19 to 24 Adult Education Budget (AEB) funded traineeships.
The ESFA will be looking for providers with the capacity to start providing high-quality traineeships to 19 to 24 year-olds quickly through a ring-fenced contract for service. (They will publish further details in respect of new traineeship opportunities for 16 to 18 year-olds will be published shortly.)
Tenders will have to be submitted via the Department for Education’ Jaggaer portal. Note that this is not the same Bravo portal which has been used for nearly all previous ESFA tenders, so you will need to register for this portal in order to participate if you haven’t done so previously.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need support with submitting a tender to deliver 19 to 24 AEB-funded traineeships as capacity to support providers will be limited.
