The bidding round to procure devolved Adult Education Budget (AEB) in London from 1 August 2019 has been launched by the Greater London Authority (GLA).
The total value being tendered is estimated to be between £30m and £50m per year over four years, with minimum and maximum contract values of £400k and £10m respectively. The tender has been split into two Lots:
- Lot 1: Adult Education Provision to Out of Work Londoners
- Lot 2: Adult Education Provision to In-Work Londoners
Procured AEB provision will be used as match-funding for the GLA’s 2019-2023 European Social Fund (ESF) programme which will be launching shortly. As a result, providers will have to ensure that at least 90% of their AEB delivery aligns with ESF Priorities 1.1 and 1.2 in the case of Lot 1 and Priority 2.1 in the case of Lot 2.
Tenders have to be submitted via the Transport for London tendering portal by midday on 21 December 2018.
