Hot on the heels of soft market testing activity which started in the summer this year, the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) have now launched their tender to procure Adult Education Budget (AEB) delivery from 1 August 2019.
The total value being tendered is estimated to be between £20m per year split into two Lots as follows:
- Lot 1: Greater Manchester-wide delivery; Lot value is £17m per annum with a minimum and maximum contract value between £1m to £5m; and
- Lot 2: Targeted, specialist interventions for specific groups of learners and/or learners from particular communities across Greater Manchester; Lot value is £3m per annum with a minimum and maximum contract value between £150k and £1m.
To take part, a Supplier Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) has to be submitted via the The Chest tendering portal by 4PM on 3 December 2018.
Following assessment of the SAQs, successful providers will be invited to tender in January 2019.
As always, get in touch as soon as possible if you need help with submitting an SAQ and/or subsequent tender to deliver AEB in Greater Manchester.
